Where to ride from Bergland

We are currently staying in Bergland and wanted to see if we could get some recommendations on what way to head, with one more day(Mon) to ride. Went to Ontanagon today and it was very rough!! Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

go east towards big bay. would be a few miles there and back but the trail between Lanse and Big Bay never disappoints.

My guess is most places are rough. Grooming is useless with the warm weather. I second going east. Radar today showed snow that way

Thanks! Anyone have an idea if groomers got out last night in this area or north? Thanks in advance!

From the Bergland Bay Bar website:

The groomers were not able to go out for a couple days because it was too warm. Sorry folks but you need to understand, we cannot control the weather. When the temps get into the high 30’s the groomers will do more harm than good. I am the last one to make excuses for conditions, but last weekend was beyond our control.

The good news, temps are back down and groomers are back out. Today’s conditions should be a lot better. The rest of the week (except for Tuesday) temps are all below freezing with a chance of an inch or so here and there. Trail conditions should be good this week and heading into the first week of March.


Sounds like they are still grooming.
