From an old advertising gimmick, a regular appearance in the Daily Mining Gazette from Joffee's Mens Wear on the north side of Shelden Avenue in Houghton, many decades ago.
'Twas a display ad (a goofy cartoon) with the caption:
"Where's George?
Gone to Joffee's"
(I also bought some fine upscale duds at Joffee's in Houghton, while I was at "da Tech".)
