wheres that snow?

hey john....my first post!!....ive been lurking around for awhile but just never have said anything....i was looking at your journal posting for jan. 9th....the pics of you and dave stuck in all that snow....where is that? im coming up to houghton thursday night....my first time ever up that way....was thinking of riding out to copper harbor....you have any suggestions for a newbie to the area? any suggestions are appreciated!!

Sorry, no giving out my secret spots. That's what makes them special.

As far as where to ride, I would suggest the trip to Copper Harbor and be sure you go over Brockway Mountain. Very cool views. The loops to Eagle River and Eagle Harbor are nice, as is the loop through Lac La Belle. Less traffic than the main trail.
