Point spreads do not depict which team Vegas expects to win. The spread is designed to get as many people to bet on both teams as possible. If too many bets start favoring one team the spread changes to equal out the bets.
if that is the case why is the game not a pickem then half would bet on the bears and half would bet on the pack same as the bears being a 10 point favorite over seattle dont the oddsmakers figure that the bears were 10 points better and the bears were the better team. I do understand the betting process the hard way of course my point was that if vegas installs the pack as a 3point favorite on the bears home field they figure the packers are the better team most defentily this does not mean the packers will win but they feel the bears have less of a chance of winning than the packers i will admit I was surprised at the line should nt the bears the division winners at 11-5 be favored over the 10-6 packers on there home field

Packers are 12-6 and bears are 12-5. Division champs means squat just ask atlanta or philly!!!
Also keep in mind the packers play outside also so i dont really see a huge advantage as to whether its in chicago or greenbay. Not like its Tampa who dont play in the cold.

Pack by at least 16. Too much offense for the Bears or anyone else. B plus defense to go with it. Cutler will end up throwing 35 passes in the second half trying to catch up.
