Hi All,
Noticed that Polaris has a new leftover 18 800 Pro-S shorty manual start out there for $8,900 plus tax and reg (no set-up fees, doc fee included etc.). Must have the $500 email coupon for this price (I do).

Anyone see a deal better, I may have to get one.

Not sure if any of the Polaris rebates have state borders connected to them???..... also If the $500 bonus rebate you mention is the one emailed to you and has YOUR name printed on it I believe the dealer has nothing to dictate about it. You should be able to negotiate your very best deal.....all add-ons included, if any....and then lay the $500 bonus on them. Its no skin off of the dealerships nose. The $500 is refunded directly to them upon completing the transaction.
Sounds like your dealer is asking $9400 for the sled you mention.
There seems to be a glut of leftovers around including regular and "snowcheck select" models.

Be careful if you get one....You might have so much fun on it that your colors will change.....LOL...it's a Polaratrick...... kinda like dating Cosby!!!!

We will see about the colors, lol
Ken's in Little Chute has over 100 overstock/demo sleds on the lot; quite the sight with all the 18 PoPo Sportsmans lined up 100 deep too.
I hedged the Doo Sno-show pricing on leftovers by getting the Pro-S (non demo in the box) for 7.9 plus tax/reg. The coupon was accepted. Now if I lose 50 lbs maybe I can keep up to Polaris Dan.

I'm looking forward to your direct comparo with your Ski Doos.
I doubt you will be swearing off the Doos but I think you'll enjoy the Pro-s Rush 800....IF that is what you have.

Right on, me too.
Likely to have a 18 850 Doo too if the Snow Show hands out $500 (or was it $600) coupons like last year.

From the Switchback to the Rush? Are you looking to be the ultimate trail shredder now? Those 800 Axys are stellar on the trails.

SB is still running well but all 2 strokes need a backup when the miles creep near 10k.

Trails I ride are 80% smooth where and when I ride.....not that the shorty is a rough ride in any way from what owners say.....so many longer tracks out there now that I don't think the bump frequency is "bridged" much better with a 137.
We will see!

As far as Doos go....chit, I can't afford one....LOL....but I will give an opinion anyway......smoothest rear susp. on the planet that wishes it was hooked up to a Polaris AXYS front clip....LOL

I got mine at the same place, cheapest price anywhere. I called around to get price match at my favorite Po Dealer (even though I prefer Doo, I own Po ATV and UTV) and they said this Dealer is receiving a volume program enhancer of .5-1k per sled in which most goes to the buyer.

Anyway; I have two problems already;
-The sled dolly lift I have "like at some Dealers" does not lift the Rush as there is no frame in the area of the exhaust outlet and there is no lift point. Hmmm, still thinking on this, maybe some 2x4's to lengthen the lift?
-Polaris accessories for storage TOTALLY SUCK and are even higher priced than Doo! Po wants me to buy a $185 frame to mount a $125 bag to; NO FREEKIN WAY! I am mounting my Do semi-rigid bag to the rear bumper, looks like it will line up perfect.

From what I recall, my buddy that has the Rush says its like a very good handling muscle car on the trails.

I got another one this year as well, same exact '16 Pro-S Switchback I already had with only 800 miles, on a smokin' deal IMO. I will ride the 'older' one until the season is over if nothing major happens. But I agree, if I put as many miles on as I did last year, I'll be well over 10k on that one, and I will want/need a backup to keep the season going.

My son is excited to get off the IQ - I'll let him ride the 'new' one when we go.

i can't argue with you on the bag options. re-check that frame price I think its more like $85 which is also too much.
I have the heavy duty rear rack on my AXYS Switchback and thought I could get one for the shorty but not so....
I will get the dash bag and most likely the frame supported rear bag.
