Wi trail pass sticker location

I was wondering where exactly people are putting their wi trail passes on a ski doo windshield? They say to put them on the lowest center spot of the windshield, but you can't really put it there. I have my michigan pass right below the headlight. Where is everyone else putting these new wi trail pass stickers?

I also have a Doo and had a similar dilemma. I ended up removing my MI sticker from the bottom of my shield and put the new pass in its place. I then figure I'd put the MI sticker above. It is what it is at this point. Hate a cluttered looking shield/sled but that's the nature of the sport these days!

Thanks harski, I was thinking of putting it on the top center of my windshield as the bottom has that indent to deflect wind

Put mine on top of the glove box, can see it thru windshield. I have 2 shields so didn't want to put it there.

On 2012 Apex XTX windshield... WI lower & MI above it just the way it worked best due to large WI sticker. WI needs to reduce size way too big.

I put mine on the black Y frame part below the windshield. I know they say to put it on the windshield but I don't think it will be a problem as long as there is one on there.

main thing is to have one attached, put mine on the hood just below the windshield ..Yama Vector.

windshields are interchangable, breakable, I'm sure a judge would agree.

Eagle1..Glad to see that I'm not the only one putting it on the glove box as I use 2 windshields also.

I hope the DNR is OK with with it.

They definitely need to make them smaller

I put mine on the glovebox a couple of years ago when we went to Wisconsin. Same reason--two different windshields depending on the temperatures. Our group was stopped for a routine check and this is what I told the officer. He said welcome to Wisconsin and to ride safe and sent us on our way.

I guess it depends on the mood of the officer.

I would tend to agree With the posts as long as it's there it should be okay.
Kids I ride with are sticker HATERS and refuse to put trail passes on them. They are going to claim they thought it was too cold to put them on. But my thing with that is we're going to get waved over and have to deal with it instead of just getting waved through. I doubt they'll get a ticket but I'm kinda hoping they get a good chewing out.

There is a company called Sled Solutions that have a backer you can put your sticker on then attach it to the sled. Comes off real easy when your done and does not leave any residue.

You can trim it with scissors to whatever size sticker you may have.

We also have a couple of guys in our group refuse to put the stickers on. If they get stopped because they refuse to comply with the law the group will not wait for them. They are on their own.

Been riding Wisconsin for 35 years. Always put the sticker high on hood next to windshield because we change out windshields according to temps. Been checked several times through the years and never an issue. I think they just want to make sure you bought your sticker. I would say that you will get their attention a lot faster by not stopping for stop signs. Especially on the Tri County Corridor.
