Any snow up in this area? I know it won't be good, but I won't be putting on a lot of miles. Will have 2 kids with me and have some time off between Christmas and New Years and would be nice to spend a few days up there if possible. Anyone have a report for the area?

According to Fuzzy:

12/15/17 I know that everyone is getting anxious and it won't be long. Yesterday we opened all of the gates. Today, the county inspected the trails and when I talked to them it sounds like we are shooting for next Wednesday the 20th. There is over a foot of snow in the woods, so we have a very good start. Stay tuned. Fuzzy

Biggest problem is going to be the lakes. Doubt any will be marked and sounds like ice is sketchy at best. But if they get this next snow tomorrow and thursday trails should be decent.

Latest I heard was Oneida Co is shooting for Thursday 12/21 at 8am. Nothing is official yet, but they're supposedly going to make a decision today.

Figured as much on the lakes. I was looking at Lake-Link for ice conditions on the willow and looks to be 2-5". To me, at least on that flowage, is not enough to safely cross. I know the area well enough to avoid water, so that is not an issue. Hopefully the swamps freeze enough to not get stuck. A little mud won't bother me tho. I will keep an eye on the storm and decide what to do. Thanks for your response.
