Wind setup for lake effect snow

what are the best wind setups for each sections of the keweenaw pennsual houghton and keweenaw counties. i no areas around calumet to delaware are usually favored with wsw winds. what about areas like copper habor to houghton the east and west wide of the pennsula sorry might be a immpossible question to awnser.

It's not really about the wind directions as much as it is about the convergence of the winds.

In general, the best wind direction for snow from around Houghton north is a little south of due west.

After that it just depends on what the local winds are doing and if there is some surface convergence to help enhance the lift and thus cloud/snow formation.
