No I havent but just curious what your after. I use the Windows Live Mail that came with it. Seems to work about the same once you get used to it. I will admit not everything in W-7 was as easy for me to figure out as they advertised.

Good advice, I just did the same and am pleased with it. I even added a non-hotmail email address to it, thanks!!!!

Well, I might as well throw this out there with the thread. I was unfortunate enough to buy a Toshiba from with Best Buy with that EXTRA added back up disc for $99 from BB. Needless to say , after 3 days of set-up headaches, hughes.net , micro soft, best buy techs ( LOL ) ect... I had issues with everything. My Seagate drive with 14,500+ mp3's wouldn't function, we were installing drivers from Vista ect.... trying to review partitions .... I finally took it back and told them to give me a computer without their junk in it ( $%&#@* )( ^&%$#@) and then everything worked. I wouldn't recommend that back-up disc.
Just a heads up. It will be a while before I forget that 1.
My Bad..... should have listened to my " hacker buddy "..........................

first off it was SP2 VISTA update that was screwing it up....only let in SP1 in VISTA....VISTA blews...taught ever one new that...and if it is an AMD processor or CENTRINO or CELLERON those dont work well either...just wonderin why you would install VISTA DRIVERS in WIN7???????

Just want to be prepared when new laptop lands and installin the USB 76 air card as I heard via other board members the installer won't work for w7.

Whatchaknowaboutit?

theres no installing the USB 76 card that i know of you have to do...thats why it dont work probably....just plug it in USB....open and search for WIRELESS CONECTIONS AVAILABLE....now hook up the air card VIA your 802.11 BLUETOOTH WIRELESS in the puter....say use AIR CARD instead WINDOWS....now windows will connect the AIR CARD VIA the wireless you already have in the machine...why install anything? also upon install the WIERLESS NETWORK DEFAULT is always OPEN....you MUST change it to SHARED...arrow down....it wont work unless its SET ON SHARED....this is most likely why they are not working for ever one....but i dont hear of all these problems you speak of....and just did a MSI NOTEBOOK with VISTA to WIN7 transfer and no problemos....but i always load CCLEANER first....uninstall NORTON or ANY SECURITY....then install AVAST and register it and then update MICROSOFT....all works flawlessly all da time

We were trying to get my Seagate drive that was suppose to be fully compatable with 7 to work. This was part of our trouble shooting process, we had it run fine on my buddy's Vista and the W7 wouldn't run it. Turned out to be.... what we believe is some junk from the Geek squad with their system back up disc , that I was told not to buy ( ^&%$#^). I swapped it with a NON Geek Toshiba / W7 and it worked instantly. Please remember that i don't consider myself " IT tech " savy. I personally still like XP......

is there anything wrong with this statement? i still use 2002 and 2005 XP MEDIA CENTER as well....it far outperforms VISTA or WIN7

Look I was trying to be helpful, it is what I believe ! Once the 2nd computer with-out the Geek stuff was procured, my issues went away. They were not just my issues, the Geek squad and all of there team could not solve the Seagate issue. I had to go to my " hacker " buddy. My intentions were to prevent someone else from buying the back-up disc. Save themselves the money and the confusion, I'm still an XP guy. I'm ready for MS to come out with " XP-2 " ( LOL )

First time you plug it in and tell it to run...it doesn't find the device...and your all done at that point. Verizon has since developed a new "run" program for this aircard but you might need to download it, as some of the usb 76 units were too old to get the updated software. There have been a few geeks who have done a work around, but was wondering how recently this issue was for the new window7 users.

well there ya go then....thats wrong procedure...you dont tell it to run...*** CHUCK? no wonder dude.....try this instead and think outside the box fer cry eye out loud

plug it in to USB PORT....now look down at the lower left TASKBAR and see the wireless symbol of 2 puters which is windows.....so there will be one thats DLINK or CISCO or LINKSYS or whatever it is...double click that just like you would the windows thing and have it SEARCH FOR AVAILABLE WIRELESS NETWORKS....now do the wizard only you gonna say use DLINK instead of the windows one...you understand? you gonna force it to use the card or it needs the disc or program from VERIZON then....its in CONTROL PANEL even...sometimes theres 2 in there anyways....keep tryin...you'll get it
