Ooops “Jacksonvilke”? — Darn iPad and its virtual keyboard! (And once posted the thread title can’t be changed). Arrgh! :sour:

As a veteran of several winters in the Copper Country, and after reading John’s journal this week, with the pictures of the Dee family’s road trip back to snow country, this is almost funny by comparison:

This just in today:
“THREE SNOWFLAKES were seen this morning at Jacksonville International Airport!
Airlines are cancelling flights!
The schools are closed!
Shelter in place!
Stay in bed!
Don’t even look outside!
The sky is falling!

My parents are in Gulf Shores AL for the winter, and woke to frozen pipes in their beach house Wed morning.
 
It’s funny how a hand full of states in the southern US have more snow this winter than the entire state of Minnesota and most of Wisconsin. These two states seem to be in the no snow zone.
