OH YEAH!!!! aren't those "BLEEZARD" conditions?? LOL
I would say so, All schools have been cancelled today with the expectation of the worst. Temps rose to 30 this a.m. with a light mist on top of the 2" of snow we had overnight, kind of a mess, temps are suppose to drop once the front clears & kick in the snow guns again. 7 days straight so far, after last year, this is tough to get use to. I'm not liking the forecast for Monday & Tuesday of next week as there is a possibility of rain & snow mix. This is crazy.

Best I can gather we received a total of 7" with this last round of LES. Initially it was sugar snow, then a light mist of rain when the temp reached 31, temp dropped to 26 late morning then snowed all day into the evening. Winds got crazy through the night into the early morning. Schools were cancelled again. It looks more like mid-January here rather than December 5th.

Yep, Heere we go again! Potentially 4-10" of new snowfall expected between 7am Wed & 1 am Thurs in Keweenaw, Northern & Southern Houghton county as well as Baraga county. Winds to gust to 35 leading to blowing snow. All according the the NWS. They haven't been real accurate, so we'll see what happens.

The NWS has now upped the snowfall for this LES event to 5-12". This should prove to be interesting with tomorrow's snow removal as the existing snow banks are now set up like cement after 34 to 36 degrees & rain yesterday. Not my idea of a fun roller coaster ride.

My daughter in Bessemer says it's a whiteout and adding up quickly. She is firing up her sled and going out for the first ride of the season.
