As much as I want to see the white gold, I would rather trade it in for a little rain then fallowed by two weeks of really cold weather to freeze everything up. Then let it snow let it snow :) Having snow tomorrow will by just like my old girl friend (nothing but a tease) :):)

Below Zero

I'd really like two weeks of night time temps below zero to freeze up Lake Minnetonka and all of the Northwoods swamps. It's hard to find people that agree with me, except here...

I agree with you. I signed my trails yesterday and the swamps are really wet.
I have one short section I will have to leave until it freezes hard, so I can get in there. We definately need some cold before the snow.

I will agree with ya...

I talked to a few trail boss people in the Northwoods and they say with all the rain they got this year, if we get any measureable amounts of snow before a good freeze, some trails may never open up.

I am hearing the same things. Things are really wet out in the swamps and if we don't get a freeze it could make a hard winter with all the snow we are going to get.

As mentioned above numerous times, keep your shorts on everyone. NONE of this snow that falls will stick, and NONE of it will be here at the end of November without a good weeks worth of COLD.
