My son is looking to wire in a electric shield on a 2007 Polaris dragon 700. I have hooked one up on my wifes 2007 FST which was easy because that has a battery. Can anyone tell me which wires the connector gets wired to and if it wouldnt be too much trouble maybe even snap a pic of the location. Thanks for the info

Right by the steering post behind the airbox there is a two wire flat conector. Just buy a plug to fit and you are good to go.

It is just a black two wire flat plug. The exposed round pin should be the ground and the other the hot. I don't think it matters for a heated shield what way you wire it up. You can get a matching plug at any automotive place or Fleet Farm.

Ok, thanks again for the help. I know sometimes questions seam simple or dumb but if someone has done it before it saves time and frustration.

Use a fuse

You will definitively want to install a inline fuse or fusable link with all of the polaris voltage regulator problems associated with this sleds to play it safe if it is not to late.
