Please remove all concrete deer ornaments off your lawns by January 10, 2010. The WDNR will be doing a deer count state-wide and some deer ornaments may have been counted the last two years by mistake.

Thats funny. Out of 8 guys this year we got 2 deer. One was opening morning at 7:15 and the other was on a drive. 2 guys never saw a deer in the woods. The WI DNR has the deer count all messed up.

It has been reported that the number of buildings shot was also down this season. 10 buildings shot compared to 25 in 08. It seems that the DNR has also missed on their number of buildings count in the state also. There are not nearly enough buildings to shoot. Where will it all end.

They immigrated to Minnesota, where corn handouts were much higher.

This is probably more related to the fact that building permits were down in most areas. Not due to the lack of deer. I'm quite sure the deer population continues to spiral out of control.

If we all just got concrete deer we wouldn't need as many live ones. All would be good than. The wdnr wouldn't need to count than.
