What area?

I have property in lower Wisconsin and buy my gas at one station for my boats cause the other have ethanol additive.

Just got back from Iowa, and there, Regular (no ethanol) was 20 cents more than mid-grade (ethanol additive)

Almost every station in Wisconsin has gasoline that has enthanol in it. Most sled dealerships have an additive that you can buy to help with the inherent problems that crap causes in sleds, etc. Locally here in Marshfield, you can buy non-ehtanol at Kwik Trip and a local station called Weilers. Kwik Trip is their Mid-Grade, and of course you pay more per gallon.

I believe if the fuel has ethanol it must be posted on the pump along with the percentage. I know that was the case when I owned a small country store.

Ethanol

Does any gas in Wisconsin have ethanol in it?

Madison, WI has several stations that provide premium non-ethanol gas. I'm pretty sure that all area Shell stations premium is non-ethanol. It's been years since the regular and mid-grade gas has not had ethanol in it. It is also my understanding (though not confirmed) that all gas sold in the Milwaukee area has the 10% ethanol. Bad stuff; I've seen the damage to carbs, fuel lines and boat tanks. I've personally been stranded out on Lake Erie, had my truck lose major power and had the carbs on my sled ice due to ethanol. I will only use premium, non-ethanol fuel in the sleds and boats. I'll go so far as to carry my own 6 gallon containers to avoid the stuff.

Any help on finding non-ethanol in the Houghton/Hancock area would be appreciated.

In the past three years I have not seen any stations with non-ethanol gas. Even up north. To avoid the junk, I would intentionally fill up in the UP before returning home to store my sleds without it for the summer. Instead, it seems I have too replace the fuel lines about every other year now and have had a couple fuel lines disinegrate in the tank.

Another benefit I found with the stuff is the impurities in the processing can build up a gel and block your carbs up. This is happening to smaller engines like my chain saw that have fixed jets under the new emissions standards.

Just a guess but I would think 90% of Wisconsin Gas Supply has ethanol in it? Pretty darn hard to avoid. D&S in Eagle River WI on the trail is all non ethanol gas & Phelps, WI Gas Station on the trail also all non ethanol gas. I'm lucky locally so purchase from those 2 as much as I can. I dislike ethanol gas but not much you can do .......got to buy whatever is available when on the road.

In Merrill, Wi., there are quite a few stations with at least the premium pumps as NO ethanol. And the stations are on or near the trails. Now we just need some more snow or something to get our trails OPEN.

If there is a Kwik Trip in the area they often will have a pump with the good stuff.

In Green Bay Fleet Farm's 87 is the good stuff.

Doug you let the cat out of the bag!
Now I will have to wait in longer lines to save $.04 off a gal and free popcorn too.

During the summer months I can get at least 50 miles more out of a tanks of gas from them.
