Working on the cams

Well it’s been awhile I have been working on all the JD webcams and it’s A LOT!
Things will get easier when I get all caught up
I have worked through 17 Pages of cameras so far!
I got quite a few up and running and quite a few deleted so far
I have had to go one by one and try and google each owner and call and email everyone that was dead
If you can still see some downed cams in Mn,Wi and the UP it’s because those folks either plan to get a new cam or get an IT person to get them back up so be patient
I have a ton of work yet on the Lower Michigan and some work on the out western cams but I’ll get to them
Hopefully I get everything up and running or gone sooner than later
It’s a tuff time of year for all the resorts to want to take time to get them up and running again
Most are slammed because it’s time to make hay for them
Anyways if you see one you really miss I will do my best to get it back up
And yes the AL cam with be back up

For those who might be interested in a cam at their location Microseven offers a decent cam at a decent price. These are reliable 24x7 security cams that can be used for security as well as uploading pictures to a ftp site or for a "picture on demand" camera. I just ordered this one to verify that they still offer the stuff I just mentioned as I've used their cameras in the past and have a number of them operational at our clubhouse. http://www.lhsc.net (look on the camera page there for several different ones in use including the Microseven) When this cam comes I will set it up here at home and test it out fully and will report back with links for everyone to look at if they are interested in a cam. These are 5mp cameras so not a 4k resolution cam but they are inexpensive and reliable.

Hey Scotti, I seen some of the old Team Hennessey in my Jan/Feb Snow Tech magazine! Makes me think of some years back! You being there sure would have made for a better pic, eh!

I was there but turned around because we were riding a plowed road for so long and I was at the end of my day with my legs!
This shitty ALS has taken my legs away pretty bad- about an hour off trail and I’m done!
I even picked up a trail sled sadly but it’s keeping me out on the snow

Good to hear from you scotti! Health issues are real bummers, and I feel pray for you with your battle with ALS. May the Lord bless you. Health is in deed everything in life. Not sure when you bought the shack across from Krupps, but I think that is when Kathe and I first met you? Take care, and don't ever give up the spirit! And hey, trail sleds are great now days. I'm so glad to what trail sleds are today compared to what they were back.55 plus years back! o_O Hopefully that gives me a extra 10 years riding, eh! ;)

SCOTTIKING, Again thank you for all your hard work and dedication to this site and the John Dee family, not only in a personal sense but also with and to the Dee extended family on this site. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers! Fight the good fight! and again Thank you for all you do!

It would have been nice if Scott would have stayed with us for sure. That picture had his nephew Mitchell in it, myself, and our Team AARP member Eric.
