Would this work to tie a bag to a tunnel?

Heading west in a couple weeks and will be renting mountain sleds. Trying to figure out the best way to carry stuff with us (snacks, gloves, etc.)....I suppose we could use a backpack but I've never ridden with one and not sure if I would like to.

I use this snobunje net to hold my snobunje to the tunnel behind the seat of my sled and it works great. The net has a good amount of stretch to it. I would think it should work to hold a bag to the tunnel if there a good spots to hook the net onto.
