Been checking the cam at Brooks Lake Lodge just about every day for the past few months. The lake finally opened up.

The snowpack this year has been unreal out west, I think these are they types of seasons that make us all want to move out there!

The link below has some really cool pics and detailed info on the Spring and Summer snowpack through the end of June thus far. Some of the pictures are amazing.

Yes, the west has had an unreal snow season! Mammoth Mountain, CA (in the southern Sierras) stayed open for skiing until July 4 and Squaw Valley (near Lake Tahoe) reopened for skiing on the 4th of July weekend. I believe Squaw Valley set a record with 810" (at their 8200' elevation) for the season. From what I've read, the central Rockies did really good, too. And from what I can tell, still 122" on the ground at the Paradise Ranger Station on Mt. Rainier, WA. Still skiing on natural snow in New Hampshire on July 2:

All in all, a good year for many!

gosh, I wonder what the temp is of the lake. I bet it'd make Superior seem like a hot tub.
