The CrossTour model has coil over front shocks like a LXR but rear air shocks like a SnoPro. There are no overload springs like a T model. The theory is you add air pressure to compensate for the extra weight. That is OK in a warm dry garage, but try doing that after the skid is full of snow. Remember, the rear passenger does NOT get handle heat. In my opinion, it is OK for short term rides with a passenger, not an all day 100 plus mile loop.
And just for further information, Cat has discontinued the TZ1 Turbo for 2014. Yes it is in the catalog, but there were not enough orders placed & it was discontinued. If anyone placed a spring guarantee for one, they will be contacted.
