We have a 86 moto 4 with no spark. I tested the coil it has 15.6 oums I think that is good. I was looking for the steps on how to test the stator. I have swaped out the cdi with a new one I thought every thing tested good. Does any body have any suggestions?
I had a situation with a snowmobile years ago with no spark. I worked on it for several days and could not figure it out. I was just about to junk the sled when I went out to work on it one last time but I forgot the key in the house. ( don't ask me why I took it in) I bypassed the key and the sled fired right up. I tell you this so you know why I say to check the key switch and the kill switch to make sure your problem isn't in either of those.
