2010 Bravo with 450 miles. It was running great yesterday. Then it died unexpectedly. Cooled it down for a few minutes. Sputtered for 400 yards and stalled. Cooled down for 15 minutes. Sputtered for 300 yards and stalled. This went on for three miles as I limped home.
Definitely not fuel related; replaced with new spark plug out on the trail. Pulled wires for On/Off switch and for kill switch. No effect. I packed the area around the coil with snow and ice. That seemed to help it some in the cooling things down quicker and getting it to restart.
So I'm thinking coil, which I will pull and have tested tomorrow.
But I'm not sure, as I've not done much wrenching on this machine and its vintage-designs. Any other troubleshooting idea would be appreciated!
