.My brother has a 2009 nitro xtx and he has usi x2 skis on it with studboy shaper bars. The skis are aggressive on the trail and wide at the front for deep snow performance. He really likes these skis and has had them on other sleds. I have them on my 600 classic but have not changed yet on my dragon switchback. google usi skis and follow link. good luck.

How much on-trail riding do you do? If you're off trail quite a bit, I'd recommend the Slydog 8" Powderhounds. Though I have nothing to compare them to other than stock skis, I can say they float extremely well - the sled no longer plows through deep snow. As soon as you hit the throttle, you immediately feel the front end come up on top of the snow. Seem to work pretty well on trail too, although they push a little bit in the corners in looser snow. I'm running Shaper bars on them, but have a set of 8" Bergstrom Triple Points that should cure the push. Also running a 1.75" Back Country track - the track and ski combo make this a totally different sled...so far the track seems to work fine on groomed trails with no excess slide wear.

I run the USI X-2 triple threats on my 08. It was a night and day difference from the stock skis. I am running stud boy 6" carbides and stage 1 fins. It seems to be a great combination.
