Finally finished the mods to the ZL we have. Cut back the existing seat base, got a Crossfire seat and built up the top of the tunnel to match the seat base, then wrapped it in stainless steel, painted it, got a Crossfire tail light, reshaped the frame and foam on the seat to fit as close as possible to the tank, then re-wrapped the seat. Added some connection points for the quick release and converted the handle bars with an adjustable riser and a 6" extension. All this on top of the tunnel extension with the 136 Cobra track we did last year.
Was trying to get a little better "rider forward" position out of the old style chassis and make it a little better for standing up. I think it may sit a little too high for some tight twistys, but for grade trails it will be great, and I'm hoping it gives my son a little more ability to get off the trail and get a feel for the powder before he invests money into a real off trail sled. Now we get need to get out and ride more than the 1/4 mile loop around my shop.
