ZR 900 Diamond Drive

Diamond drive broke in ZR 900. Does any one have parts or complete kit from wrecked sled. Any help appriciated this is a buddies sleds so please leave way to contact thanks.

You will need to contact Black Diamond Xtreme, as they are the only ones who will have replacement parts....Unless you find a used DD. This all depends on what broke, usually when they break its not pretty and the whole DD needs to be replaced. The older ZR DD's and the 05-06 M series DD's were pretty bullet proof w/o the mechanical reverse.

Had to replace mine last year on 2005 ZR900. (Spline was stripped out at the drive shaft). Total cost for AC replacement was around $600 and I removed it and installed new one. After I was finished I could of just drilled a hole through the drive shaft and spline of Act Drive and installed a 1/4" hardened bolt. I have since done this to my old one so now I have a spare. I drilled through one of the holes that the ball bearings are located at. You need a carbide drill to get through the drive shaft. Good luck.

Friend of ours has a zr900 and DD broke up north on our recent trip. Dealers amazed that it broke, and said they usually dont have problems with them. Ordered one through arctic cat dealer, and was a fairly quick fix.

I have a friend with a 05' ZR900 that broke his 2 seasons ago and I ordered the parts from Black Diamond and fixed it and then last season it grenaded again. I was talking to another friend about this and he said he has a friend that grenaded 3 of them and that Arctic Cat had to buy it back as he sued them. When we rebuilt my buddies I got the updated shaft also. Hope you have better luck.
