How long will your snowy drive to-from work be?

My 35 mile commute took wasn't too bad today. It took 1 hour this morning, it's usually 40 minutes. I'm sure the ride home will be double that. Anyone else expecting an awful commute? I'm in the western suburbs of Chicago. I'm going to make sure not to drink anything well in advance of heading home tonight. Don't want to pee in a cup!

My 8 minute commute to work in Burlington, WI went up to about 50 minutes. But for a good reason. I took the snowmobile instead of the car! Rode the trails to work. Hoping for a great powder ride home!

My commute this morning was really tough, from the kitchen table to my computer. I'm sure glad I made it (on JD's )!!

Once the snow starts coming down I am outta of here. Normally takes me one hour and 15 minutes going home, but with 3 to 6 inches predicted, I am NOT going to chance it. BTW..I live 36 miles from here (work), and only 11 miles is on I75.

My office is 3 miles from home. Usually takes me about 5 minutes to get to work. Today with the slick roads it took me 8. I'm really stressed out right now-I hope the commute home is better!!

Took me two hours, Huntley Area to Des Plaines, usually takes me 40 min, cant wait for the ride home! Wish I could ride my sled down the tollway sometimes!

Maybe some of you who work from home can jump on your sleds, navigate between the traffic and bring me out a snack tonight when I'm stuck in my car.

30 miles took 1:40. I drive through Aurora, IL. Large hispanic population. Very few know how to drive in snow, at least it seems that way.

Well, I still made it home in one hour and 15 minutes. Left the parking lot at work at 2:15 and was near home at 3:30. Traffic was still decent and moving along, but at a slower speed. Might not be so lucky tomorrow morning.........That is usually an hour ride in..
