My mom and dads bill last month was $48x.00, I think they pay between $1.75 and $1.90 not sure exactly. Last year they had an $800 bill, but they were paying much more per whatever the measurement is. Juneau county Wi.

I bought 400 gallons or so in October at $1.09, I just had them come put in 200 gallons Friday, and it was $1.99 a gallon.

I just refilled also and paid $1.90 from Ritche Lakeland. I paid $.99 in July. This summer
I'm going to buy a 1000 tank and refill in summer only.

Here in MI the best choice is to buy your own tank and call around when needed and go with the best offer. Always difficult when you have a company-owned tank, they got you where they want you. A used tank is not that expensive and will pay for itself in a couple of years, especially if prices get anywhere near where they did in 2008.....

I got my tank when the Natural Gas craze hit the northwoods a few years ago. People were quick to jump on that band-wagon and wanted to get the tanks out of their yards. I paid $200 for a 500 gal old end-fill tank that was still half full. I know that is an optimal deal, but you can still find people wanting to get rid of their tanks in the local want ads or sales type flyers. If you go to buy a tank from a propane dealer they are pricey and in the end it will take you much more time to catch up on your investment. And as fredster stated, it's nice because it gives you the freedom to purchase your propane from the cheapest vendor at any given time. Just my experience.

I don't know about that! First of all how do you approach someone you barely know to do something so clearly wrong and not to mention illegal. + all the gas trucks that have come to fill my tank are computer operated and know the start gallons in the truck and end gallons in the truck and then print your invoice right out there for you. Dealing with a propane truck driver isn't like slipping a cabby $20 for a ride under the table.
