Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knows of places around the togwotee area that i could stay at and go snowmobiling with an experienced off trail guide from the place i would be staying at. I was also wondering if anyone could give me details like all inclusive rates or what would be included in my stay at the place you would be giving me information about.

Thank You,
Joe

All depends on what you want to do. I like riding right from the door without trailering. Paying "one money" as oppose to getting nickled and dimed is up my alley too! Togwotee Lodge all inclusive is the way to go. Remember, none of this is going to be cheap, but, you get what you pay for. Don't try and piece meal it together. Sure enough something won't go right that way. I like Lava Mtn. Lodge too, but it is not all inclusive. At Tog. they have great guides and if you are spending the money to go there then you need to have the best experience (Bang for your buck) for your dollar. It is all about the mountain riding and they have it "in your face". If you get Carter or any of the other guides than it's like the Richard Petty school of racing, Fun, challenging & you will most definately become a better rider. The key with the guides is to let them know what you want to do and how much experience you "truly" have and the will fit your abilities to the ride and then increasingly challenge your limits. Tog. is on my to do list at least twice each yr. I like late march the best. Days are longer, temps are not so cold and plenty of snow.

Longer days = more trouble to get into

Not last season but the two before that we rode the Snowies in April and it was a blast. Lots of untouched, longer days, not many people around...

Ugggh. Who wants to west for July 4th?
