Great Game !! Too bad somebody had to lose!! Great goaltending ! Cannucks wanted it just a little more, came out hitting and never let up! At least the canadien refs let them play like old time playoff hockey used to be ! Now I have a dilema on my hands, my #1 Sharks have to play my #2 Wings ! GO SHARKS,there is red blood in the water !!

Heck of a game - heck of a series. The 'Hawks found a goalie for the next ten years. They only need a few other pieces to be great again. Don't know if the Red Wings next series is a gimme. Might be a little tougher than they think. Hard to beat playoff hockey.

Canucks wanted it a little more???? Are you kidding?! Campbell has a broken foot and has been getting shots in it for a month and a half, Toews is playing on a seperated shoulder, Seabrook is still dreamy from the cheap shot he took, Hossa has not fully recovered from his injury from earlier this year, and they took the president's trophy winners to overtime in game 7! That entire team was gassed and they willed themselves back into that series. The Captain, running on fumes, simply willed that puck into the net to tie it up. You can say the Canucks where more talented, but to say they wanted it more is a sorry sports cliche' that obviously does not apply here.

You have obviously never played competitive sports at a high level. The whole "they wanted it more" cliche' is B.S. especially when you get to a playoff situation. And, even more so when you get to an overtime. The human body only has so much gas in the tank, especially when injured. The Canucks had a healthy president's trophy winning team and won their 4 games by a total of 5 goals, the #8 seed won their 3 games by a total of 9 goals, and pushed a game 7 on the road into overtime in the last minute. You could make a case for this team walking through the motions at some points of this season, but this years playoffs is not one of them. They definitely wanted it just as badly as Vancouver, if not more, they just ran out of gas.

The series is over. Get over it. Pick yourselves a new favorite and climb on their bandwagon. All playoff hockey is good. The regular season is just a formality.

I think this year it will be Vancouver and Wahington in the finals and this will be the year Ovechkin gets his Cup. Detroit does not get past the Sharks and then the Sharks do their annual pee down their leg in the conferance finals. If Washington stays healthy, I think they have enough to beat Vancouver.

Never said the games where not good, I am not a bandwaggon hopper, and tell your North Sta, er, I mean Dallas Stars that the regular season is a formality.

The Wings have a tough row to hoe for sure, but they're off to a pretty darn good playoff start -- surpassing the opinions of some who predicted they'd struggle to even make the playoffs!

Wings/Bruins would be a classic Original Six battle!

Cat Man ,If you read my post it says " Just a little more" If you watch the winning goal in Ot you can clearly see the Hawks were tired as there was nobody within 5 ft of Burrows when he let loose with his bullet. hawks played great but ran out of gas at the end !What qualifys as high level sports ?Got a few of them covered in 65 yrs !! Hawks were a good team, had a good run but you have to let loose !
