I thought of you nash when I heard of this crazy Haboob this morning. Hope all is well & your not mistaken for some dust bunny:eek:, LOL, sorry, couldn't resist. I hope all is well though.-Mezz

I did get some rain last evening, but the dust storm missed me!

I have seen plenty of them over the years, but they're calling this one "the dust storm of a lifetime".

Ya gotta luv Airyzony, she's got really big haboobs! :D

2. From inMaricopa.com: Dust storm marks stunning debut of monsoon season. — That's not quite accurate though, as this year's first monsoon season thunderstorm occurred on Saturday, July 2, 2011! However, I sure liked their characterization of the dust storm:
"The dust storm that rolled into Maricopa last night around 7:30 p.m. looked like a scene out of the movie “The Mummy,” where some angry deity is awakened from a 3,000-year-old spell and is out to wreak havoc."

You are a lucky man, that one did not look like one bit of fun to have to deal with during or after. It kind of reminded me of the films I have watched in the past on the Dust Bowl, truely nasty. Glad to hear you were spared that headache.-Mezz
