Lone sled trail down the Portage Canal...

Someone has gotten "brave" and made a run down the Portage Canal and under the Lift Bridge. Is brave the right word??? bcam2.jpg

Not me within these conditions. Done it before in years past. Looks like someone was trying to remember an exit, or his name.?

Brave would be incorrect, more like idiot. One track and then people that don't know any better think it's ok. That's when accidents happen.

Someone has to be first! Now that there is one track, I bet they add up quick. You wouldn't catch me pulling a stunt like that, but hey, to each their own.

Not too bright -- there's a lot of road salt that falls into the canal from the bridge, makes for some relatively hazardous ice near the bridge!

Maybe he was just on a practice run, planning on coming back to do the Polar Bear Dive this weekend, sled and all?
