Was hoping for some help on the approximate trail mileage and/or riding time between Bergland and Copper Harbor. (I know riding time is relative and could vary greatly but just figure average.)

Any dining or lodging info (from Phoenix to the Copper Harbor area) would be great too.

thx in advance,,,,

Bergland to Twin Lakes=approx 50 miles
Twin Lakes to Copper Harbor=approx 90 miles
Stop in Twin Lakes at Krupp's Mini-Mart for fuel and a delicious pasty and a studel for desert. You might even stop on the way back for a repeat.

Depending on the route as little as ~280 or up to ~ 320. Unless you lose the bolt holding the ski to your sled and you you have to backtrack to Calumet riding double holding onto a ski so you can properly size the new bolt... then it is about 350.

Yep,
Your right...took the ride in my mind after the post.... I would not go in straight shot... so the mileage is 208 give or take....
this is how I ran it
Tr1 to T12,T13 loop,Tr3 to T120,T121..about 116 miles to Houghton. What a great ride.
T3 to T122,T124, T130 loop, T3 to T134, T134 into CH
So about 208 Give or take...
Wow I got to stop drifting off......

Stay on the trail and have fun

bear belly bar, very kool area to sled to. very neat place. I thought $7.00 was a little pricey for a bowl of soup though.

Bear Belly bar-Soup sure is yummy. I could name quite a few places that are more costly and fluctuates on food being good or not good. At Bear Belly's - food is always good and a favorite stop for many. Thats our personal opinion and we get alot of feedback from our cabin guests-have never heard anything negative about Bear Belly's so we never hesitate to pass on the good word. Now, I'm hungry. (Just wish Bear Belly's would be closer to Twin Lakes)
