To all newbee's in the U P. PLEASE obey the signs along the trails. If the present trend continues we will be losing some trails. Just recently some sledders trashed the GOLF COURSE at Wyandotte Hills in Twin Lakes. Yes signs are posted but some one still had to ride all over the course. They even rode over the signs. ( IGNORANT ) We didn't have this problem before, that's why I called the violators Newbee's. This season it seems like this is the only area in the Midwest with rideable snow and everyone who wants to ride is coming here. We welcome you, but PLEASE ride sensibly and obey all trail signs.

please listen i live down state we had so many trails when i was in high school compared to now a lot of road riding not at all like it used to be if you cant or wont obey the signs stay home dont ruin it for those of us who appreciate the fact land owners allow us to use there land for trails nuff said but please take this to heart

What a bunch of effin morons. Sorry to hear that. Not once in all the years I've been going up there have I ever seen tracks on it. It is signed welll, so there's no excuse, (not to mention.........it's a golf course!!) and would seem rather obvious. Boy, what I wouldn't give to catch or see someone catch these kind of arse clowns in the act!

Well I think with this new system rolling through it should keep some of the riff raff out of the UP. I think this year the UP has had more traffic than other years due to the lack of snow everywhere.

We can only hope that this doesn't happen next year...but as the Lord says; don't worry about tomorrow!

This stuff falls on deaf ears. You really think they care what you say? That's providing they even see this. They're a holes. The only way is to catch them in the act. Fellow snowmobilers need to start keeping their eyes open for this riff raff and maybe we need to take actions into our own hands. Maybe a good trailside butt kickin' is due when caught in the act.

Oh I am so afraid you are right! To some noise or respect for any one or any thing is just a wast of time, and not something we need to think about. Its a sad day.

We are losing more trails a year then making new ones. Whats with people now a days. The snowmobile clubs do alot of work to make a trail.

Golf courses must be a hot ticket as the Lando course got tracked up not to long ago and you can see track right over the snow/trail fence altho we could not determine if the fencing was down at the time. I did not hear if the club got any complaints about it but they know about it.

Maybe it's time for summa da local serifs to form a few serif's posses. (Unpaid volunteers.) Talk to them. (Barney Fife need not apply!)
They can always contact (click → ) Maricopa County's Sheriff Joe Arpaio for posse settin' up advice! :)

Talk to the local sheriff(s) about forming a snowmobile posse, then join up! If they don't have the resources to enforce the law, they should see the merit of having a snowmobile posse. I'm completely serious!

Perhaps not quite as satisfying, but "mo' betta" than the "Team Bronson" or the "ball bat" approach, not to mention having the legal authority to enforce the law on the spot!

I rode by the golf course the other day and seen all the tracks. I was in dis-belief and wondered if it would make this board. When I wen't past I rode real slow and noticed they even rode over the bridge. Man wasI ticked to see what they did. I honestly cannot believe it as this one really struck a nerve with me.
