Took my final ride today and had a good time. I wasn't going to go near the actual trail but there were a few patches to get there still so I snapped a few pics of the trail also. It's right about 60 today and has been warm now for 6 days and going to be for at least another 6 so we will not survive it. Off trail would still be doable even down this area but up nort would be better, they had more snow before the melt down.

Wow, they are shot! Most years you don't even see that guardrail, but even in Jan and Feb you could see the top rail.

If it wasn't for the fact that I just spent 600 bucks for new shingles for the garage, I would have driven up last night for the weekend! Not looking good for an April ride I am afraid. C'mon ma nature, another epic April storm would be nice. LOL.

another 5 days we wont have any snow in the keweenaw not rideable snow at least maybe a few snowbanks but further north you go better chance of it but still unlikely with temps forecasted to be 70 the next 4 days

Hard pill to swallow seeing those pics, I can almost cry knowing we really never got into high gear this winter. All the bike riders at work are high as kites and say "we are glad winter is over and we can ride" I respond back, "your cutting into my season winter is not supposed to be over yet" which they then say "it is our time now" and then I say back "how would you like to loose June or July to some major winter storms and then you could not ride and then I can take your months" off course they do not like that...I realize if you have a bike you have to take advantage but they all know I sled and it seems like they just try to rub it in, 'dem winter haters...

Wow, the COOLEST temp in Lenny's post is 40, and that should be the normal HIGH. How screwed up can this year get? Is that really an 83 high I see. Gonna be some records broken I would guess!!

a very warm night with some rain and 75 degrees today. Most of the logging roads are getting bare spots and not worth trying. I rode a few days back and that was it!
