I can't really disagree with any of it. What do you think?

The four points mentioned for Polaris are all positve and confident. Not so with the four points mentioned for Cat. How can it be a tie? It would really give Cat a boost with a US built engine. Competition is good.

I was wondering the same thing.

I thought it was a poorly written article based largely on the authors opinion, not facts. "The much maligned performance of the cat 800"??? That comment doesn't even make sense! I'm not even a huge Cat fan, but that 800 has been a solid performer since day one.

I think they are referring to fuel economy more so than performance.

I agree with most of it & to me Polaris has HUGE hole in 4s market but kicking butt in mountain segment. Big question in my mind is how can AC jump in with 600 DI 2s without buyiong tech from someone? Cat engineers are clever but DI 2s hard nut to crack.

Everyone has some good points, one thing I will comment on is Polaris and AC are really stepping up and producing some great sleds. Kudos to the Minnesota boys who finally get it, Ski Doo blind sided the industry and its taken many years to play catch up. I would not hesitate to buy either polaris or AC. You better be careful though cause you caught up, I didn't say you passed them by, But I have hope.

I would say more like nipping at heels of Doo than caught up. Doo has no holes in line up Poo no 4s in proride & AC no DI 600 2s but decent 2s 800. There are are market holes not something for everyone yet except Doo.

I agree also. Where would Doo be without the aquisition of Evinrude. Great move in my opinion. I am sure DI would not even be talked about yet without it.
