any recommendations out there?
I got a KLIM Krew Pak for Christmas. Thing seemed huge. So I bought the Nac Pak and that seems a little small.
I like the built in water feature of both. Krew Pak can be used for traveling also...fits a laptop and files in it.

Around the UP, mostly just carry a map, cell charger, water and snacks. Out west, add the shovel and probe. Room for that in both too.

I personally use a HMK, but both the packs you have are excellent choices. In my experience it comes down to the more room you have, the more you will take, and the more it will weigh. Oh and if you do decide to take your laptop to do a bit of work on your break, be prepared for some really crazy looks!

X3 for True Adventure Gear, they are well made and very durable. I have both sizes and prefer the smaller lightning pack. You can get a water bladder for either one. They also make a couple of great pairs of gloves.
