Drove by as the first responders got there didn't look good. Looked like sleds might have hit each other. But no idea for sure. Just got out if the way.

Me and my friend had to escort the cops to the scene by sled as it was 1/4 mile down the trail. Not good, guy was unconcious for 5 min but came back. He had really bad neck pain. I don't know why they had to claim alcohol was possibly a factor as I don't believe it was at all (there was even a kid with them younger than me, just too fast and bad visibility (it was snowing like CRAZY).

"Alcohol is believed to be a factor in this crash" Once again, I have no sympathy whatsoever for these incidents anymore. (alcohol involved) Feel free to flame away, I dont care. Tell me now is not the time for these type comments. Tell me I should feel bad for the families, Tell me its in bad taste to post these comments. Tell me im a jerk for posting. I no longer give 2 sh$ts about a person who makes bad choices. You are free to do whatever you want with your own life, but don ever ask for my sympathy if it goes bad for you. Most of you feel the same way but are afraid to say it. Go ahead flame away I dont care and call me any name you want. These stories are predictable and getting old. Im sorry to say it but I just dont feel bad anymore when people make stupid decisions

got to remember every accident snowmobiling or not is going to have that on the end of the report. but i could be wrong it could be a factor and I agree with you somewhat but I believe speed was the biggest factor (visibility was horrible)

I heard a couple of local kids were playing on the pole line, one was up on top of a hill, and the other was coming up when his throttle stuck. He hit the one at the top, that one had 3 broken ribs.

If alcohol was not a factor then they have my sympathy. ( i dont believe they would even mention alcohol if it wasnt a factor. they dont just throw that in every report) But if it was then no. I DO believe in accidents, but if you choose to add alcohol to it then I no longer believe it was an accident. I just cant feel bad anymore when intelligent people make dumb choices. And maybe it was a speed issue? I dont know, but it begs the question, "if you had not been drinking, would you have going that fast?". And Im NOT making an arguement about drinking and riding. Do whatever you want with your own life and Ill do whatever I want with mine. I know its harsh but bad choices sometimes have harsh consequences. Alcohol increases your chance for something bad to happen to you while riding. If that was your choice and something bad happened then thats to bad for you.

Is there a possibility that some ppl are just plain too stupid to do much of anything on or in a motor vehicle....with or without "alchohol" being involved...also....eff you holier than thou red bull swillin amped up monster drinkin a-holes...i got no sympathy for yur dumbass' and don't really give a rats behind for your fained sympathy for me either....LOL!!!!!!!

point is there CAN BE many "contributing factors" involved in an incident, so shut yur self-righteous pieholes just because alcohol is the only demon they currently test for....you need a test too, DUMMIES!!!LOL
PLEASE NOTE:
this rant is NOT pointed at ANYONE personally.

YES it is a possibility that there are people that are just to stupid to do much of anything on a motor vehicle. I wish it could be tested and ticketed, but its sadly its not illegal to be stupid

I'm just glad to hear that no one was killed. Hope he makes a quick recovery and learns from whatever mistake he might have made.

I had a bad accident several years ago with the ride to the hosipital. They drew blood on the ride in due to surgery that needed to be done. FIRST THING PUT OUT THERE, ALCOHOL IS BELIEVED TO BE A FACTOR!!!!
Nothing like a kick in the a** to have arm chair viewers preach there ideas with no facts, just hear say and posts.
I told police no drinking was done all day, my foot slipped off of runner. I was torched before the truth was out there. The police stopped at the hospital about three days later to say the report was NO ALCOHOL in your system, saddly to say I had to defend my self for years with comments still that were pasted around.
Please remember not to judge people or preach without all the facts which take some time to be published. Then you can preach to every one with facts.
Useful comments are always welcome, thats why like this site that John provides us to use.
Glad to hear no one was killed, and they have a fast recovery to ride soon:)

Thank you, r/l groomer!
Folks on this board, of all places, really don't need to go jumping to "contusions" like the "major media" before all the facts are in! Dealing with an accident is enough of an ordeal without the added grief, hassle and aggravation of such BS.

I saw two sleds on trail 3 friday afternoon both missing a front ski and a-arm. North of TL. They were about 1/8 of a mile from each other, guys waved us by. I'm sure there is a crazy story behind this one. They seemed fine.
