Jackpot::::

Well after a long summer waiting for the snow to fly and having trip after trip cancelled to the UP , getting a foot plus here at home and seeing it all go in a few days faster than Frosty the Snowman went, my luck (AND A LOT OF OTHER PEOPLES TOO) has finally changed . Mother nature has finally decided to give the UP, winter. SO you ask why am I so lucky?Well we had an 11 day trip planned to go to the UP and guess when it is? IT FRICKEN STARTS THURSDAY!!!!!!!! I am so dam excited I havent hardly slept all week and tonight and tomorrow night will not be any better.I cant believe it should actually be the best conditions of the year and this is the 1st time ever that we are going for this long.Happy trails to everyone and be safe...

We are headed up to Seney tomorrow morning for two days and then to Raco for two more days. Been waiting for this a while. Everybody have fun and be safe.

Yup still awake ... lol Actually 3 different events in the 11 days but not coming home. 1.5 in Eagle River to get the girls situated for Women on snow, then 4.5 in the UP with the boys then 5 days in the Watersmeet area with wife, son and others possibly. Gotta get to bed 2;45 comes pretty early. PS Whitedust I will pace myself, Maybe lol

Loading up tonight and Heading to South range early in the morning. I hope the roads are good. Have a group of 8 that are staying at the Wild Life refuge cabins. Can't wait.

Hey Eagle, the trip had its ups and downs in both the weather and sled issues, but at least not mine this time or at least mine was still rideable. (shock issue) We ended up putting on a little over 1500 miles and the trails were anywhere from a 4 to a 10 with mostly 8s I guess. Had a lot of very nice trails, met a lot of great people and had nice family time too. One Cat blew chaincase out, and one Poo 2012 blew motor. All in all a very nice time .Thanks for asking. Have you been on trails around here lately? And yes does suck to come home , lol
