Sunny and nice out now but there is a winter storm warning, says 100% chance for "heavy snow" tonight. expecting up to 13 inches.

Isn't that just great! I am so sick of this crap. Can't ride it so lets get rid of it. Think spring before its too late and it just might be summer before the winter storms give up. Where were the storms in Nov and Dec?

Just heard on the TV news that Keweenaw County (measured by the county road commission up in Delaware) went over the 300" mark for the season, with 304" falling so far. 46" still on the ground. 8-12" expected in the next 24 hours. Maybe a June ride? :)

Pretty crazy weather up your way, can't believe this winter just won't end. We lost the last of our snow about two weeks ago. After this storm you should be close to what... 50" snowpack in the end of April... Unreal!! I bet the locals are about to go loco lol. It looks like winter is going to lesson its grip finally in the next coming weeks, although I worry about flooding up your way though with this massive snowpack without the gradual snowmelt that usually occurs.

Weather in the U.P. is great. Rode all day Sunday testing the new 900 ACE ski~DOO. The trails are getting alittle bumpy.

So Pit, I know you rode one previously but what are your feelings on the 900 ACE after spending an entire day on the seat? BTW, not trying to hijack the thread, just curious as I ordered one in a gade.

Many pages of postings on the 900Ace might want to search for detailed info.

yesterday morning I went for a ride and when I got back we got another inch during my ride, just now that inch has melted away. It's gonna take a few days for the 8 we got to go away. This weekend will be fine even in the 60's

I think Rhinelander might be in 60s by Sunday getting thin there but hard to belive we will hit 60s with all the snow pack in my yard & north to UP. Trail riding in UP FRs & such should be special in short sleeves.:)

I am not complaining about the late spring. I am not a hot weather fan at all. I'll take it up to 70-75 degrees, but after that you can have it. I hate the summer heat. Besides with the late spring we are still a ways out from cutting the lawn, last year I had cut a week ago already. I am looking forward to 60 degrees so I can get some spring chores done around the yard, but summer temps can wait.
