Copper Harbor Trail fest (MTB)

we're looking at going up to Copper Harbor for the mountain bike trail fest. Would be be better off staying down in the Hancock area or would copper have enough entertainment/food to keep us entertained for long weekend(3-4 nights)?

I would check right now to see if there is anything available for lodging that weekend. 2 years ago I tried calling the week before, and found one room available in the whole town. LOL.

I am a mountain biker as well as a sledder. I have a bunch of friends going up for the MTB fest and some of them were having problems a month or so ago with lodging.
You may be able to find a spot that was maybe cancelled.
There will be a lot bikers up there it is a very popular riding destination for MTB now.
They are sweet trails!
