Trail Permits

This is what I do. Makes no sense to me why they do it this way, but it works for me. I ride primarily in Wisconsin and MI. I register the sled in Wisconsin for $30 every other year and then buy a trail permit in Michigan for $45 each year.

but to ride at home (legally) in IN you have to register it here too. $30 for three years.
You can register in more than one state.

Good to know. Once my kids are old enough to putz around on the sleds, I'll probably start riding in state once in a while (my sleds are normally stored in northern Indiana). I'll register them in IN then. It's probably been 10 years since I rode a sled in IN though, other than riding it up on a trailer.
