Exactly you are answering your own question but don't see it. Drinking or pot whatever is about choices just that easy.

Actually, the fact that a tank bag was found with the contriban inside it simply demonstrats that whether this is legal or not, the stuff is being used by sledheads already and therefore under the influence. As with alcohol, how anyone would think that they can use their best skills after drinking or smoking is a sad statement to have to make. If you are impaired even a little bit, then this isn't funny at all, and it really is just a sad statement about attitudes toward others on the trail and a complete lack of respect for a sport that needs no negatives in the eyes of a ever skeptical public.. Drinking and driving is a problem that we KNOW kills innocent people every year. With the recent liberalization of Pot laws, it remains to be seen where or what affect that will have over time.

The leagalization has absolutly 0 effect on consumption if ya ask me. Anyone who wants to smoke already does. To even call it illegal is pretty much a joke. 22 million pounds of the stuff gets shipped around this country every year. Its everywhere and anywhere at any time for those that want it. I highly doubt we are going to see masses of people running out into the streets to try pot for the first time just because the Fed's call it legal one day!

Also, to say that who ever lost the bag was smoking and riding at the same time is pure speculation. We know nothing about how the bag got there. For all we know it was tossed out the window of some punks car who had the five O on his tail. Trail 3 runs right next to the road in plenty of places. Sure, it may have been in a windshield bag, but that doesnt really mean anything.

Why would anyone smoke or eat pot & then build a bridge? If you want to think the worst of people ok with me but pot so easy to get what's diff just legal? If bridge designer going to use on job he/she is already using it. You are way over concerned most people are very responsible & will continue to be on the job.

I almost fell off the dam chair laughing so hard.

Dumb question, but How does the pot get into CO unless it is grown there and does the new CO law allow unchecked cultivation of it or is it a licensed and inspected process?
I think it is still illegal to traffic Pot across this country.....no?

I'd be for a nationwide pot law that allows it's production and use but also taxes the bejeesus out of it to the point where the end user sees no significant price drop because this stuff,...well....grows like a weed and once the risk of illegality is removed, could be produced and merchandised at a VERY low cost IMO....sounds like if a portion of that NEW POT TAX was used to fund a trail system we'd be ridin some great trails!

Once legalized, I'd also like to see it aggressively tested for the same as alchohol in a suspected impaired driving situation.

High level drug dealers

first off GOOD pot dose not grow like a weed takes a lot of time. 2nd if u go in to a dispensary any place it is legal including the Netherlands U will be paying more than u would on the street .
I am with taxing it the same as any other drug like booze and cigs why would it have to be taxed higher than other drugs?
well why would any 1 product be taxed at a higher level than a different product in a so called fair society? but flat tax is a different debate
and just like booze once the fed takes it over it will be harder for kids to get .
go ask your teen to get u a case of beer or a bag of pot or some heroin what ever is the quickest to score. I would bet the farm they come back with pot and heroin in less than 30 min the booze will take way more time like days.
the whole pot criminalized thing is a joke.nothing but a cash cow fleecing of America
