Lake Ice.....slush now?

What does your local lake look like now?....Here in SE WI we had a great start with probly 10" of ice but with the sleet/rain and then 8" of snow we now have a mess!!!!
Seriously.....6" of water under the snow everywhere on the lake here.....just wondering if this has happened on other lakes as well?

This is pretty much what I've been seeing on all the lakes in the area. And with the new snow insulating it, it won't refreeze anytime soon either. I have family coming over for the holidays and was hoping to turn them loose with sleds out on the lake, but its not going to happen this year.

Just came across the northern lake of Twin Lakes ( I think it is Mary ) and it is almost dangerous. Those ruts have frozen solid and could not go very fast or you may flip.
