509 goggles

I have numerous pairs of 509 goggles and recently had a pair where the foam had came unglued from the frame. I called them and they opened a claim. Immediately they sent me an email asking for pictures. I replied with two pictures. The next day they replied saying that the foam warranty was only 1 year, but they would be sending a new pair to me anyway. I know they may be a little overpriced, but at least they are fair to there customers.

Cool, save the others & use some fabric glue on the foam & reattach, you'll get many more miles out of them.-Mezz

byrn71, Thanks for posting this....I meant to do the same....

509 also took care of me. I talked to the 509 guys at the snow show about getting a set of clear goggles and the one year warranty was brought up so I told them about my 3 YO pair a sinisters that the foam came loose on in the 1st season....They hooked me up with Joanne in the claims dpt. and they sent me a new pair in exchange for my old ones.....
Now that's great CSR service!

Any of you guys have trouble finding goggles to fit your helmet? I've been using my modular since I cant seem to find any that work. Was thinking of getting some aviators. More foam the better I would think. Any thoughts?

You guys are crazy wearing goggles! I suppose you carry a shovel and ride standing up too... Some people!

I wear the goggles cause I don't want to be the guy in the group that has to stop on every corner to clear the fog from their shield and/or glasses...
nope.. don't wanna be that guy...

I was skeptical too but the 509 helmet with sinister goggles fit together well.
Tried Aviators but they didn't fill the helmet opening as well so I swapped for the Sinisters.
I added a Klim balaclava with the neoprene breath deflector this year and that makes it even better
