122, Lake Linden to Gay

I know this should probably be in the "Conditions and Info" section so if someone feels it's too out of place here you can move it. I just figured it would get more attention here.

I've been hearing this section of the trail is closed all season for logging. Couldn't find anything official so wondered if someone knows for sure. Last week we rode 124 south from 3 about 15 miles and turned around as it was getting late and didn't want to chance anything. Coming again this weekend and would like to run between Lake Linden and Lac La Belle without having to track over to Phoenix. Is the club trail through Dreamland an option, or is there any re-route like there is on 3 for the logging going on there?

122 is closed due to logging. The Dreamland trail would not help in getting to Gay as it only goes as far as the point where they close 122 to Gay on the LL side.

Thanks John. So this may be stating the obvious, but the only way to get between LL and Gay is up 3 then down 124 correct?

I wonder how much effect that closing is having on the businesses in Gay.

Yes, that would be the only way to get from LL to Gay. Not sure of the effect it is having on the business in Gay.

124 has some logging on it to when your get closer to THE GAY bar. When we were on it last week, it was pretty low on snow in the logging area, after logging area it was plentiful

and when we rode 124 a few weeks ago it was great..we also tried to find the deamland club trail..but I believe it has been moved a bit..as it was our first time we could not find it
