I'm going to be taking my wife on a little bit of a getaway this weekend to brained mn, and I would like to be able to find a park bench or something similar we can sit and watch the sunset over the lake. Where can I go?

Hey Mike, what lake you going to be by? We have a place on the Whitefish Chain, if your up there I would suggest Manhattan Beach Lodge. You could enjoy a cocktail while watching the sunset...awesome view

Good Luck,

Do it up right. Grab the ferry boat across the pond. Sunsets are best at the gold coast. Western lower Michigan on lake Michigan.

Well... from Baxter go to Gull Lake, here's some options listed as closest to furthest, from Poncho & Lefty's

-Ernie's on Squaw Point (I have seen a few sunsets from there)- about 5miles
-The DNR ramp at Hole In The Day Bay- about 7miles
-Grandview Lodge, Beach Side Bar- about 10miles
