Anyone remember the Seinfeld episode where Newman was storing mail in Jerry's basement because he was too lazy to deliver it? Well, we have a small scandal in the fine little town of Neenah, Wisconsin. Read on.

Wisconsin mail carrier probed after allegedly dumping GOP political mailers

Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night may keep postal carriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds. But partisan politics, now that may be another matter altogether.

An investigation has been launched into a Neenah, Wisconsin postal carrier who allegedly dumped into a recycling bin hundreds of political advertisement mailers from the campaign of Mike Rorhkaste, Republican candidate for Wisconsin’s 55th Assembly District, Rorhkaste tells Wisconsin Reporter.

Neenah Postmaster Brian Smoot, who was alerted to the incident on Thursday, confirmed that there is an ongoing investigation into the matter, and referred Wisconsin Reporter to the Office of the Inspector General for the U.S. Postal Service. OIG representatives there did not return several phone calls seeking comment Sunday.

“I am not allowed to comment because it is an active investigation,” Smoot said of accusations that the unidentified mail carrier mishandled the political literature.

The story goes on to say that the postal worker felt "overwhelmed" by the volume of Political Advertising and was looking for an outlet for his frustration.

Looks like someone's got some explaining to do....

Not that I agree with the mail carriers tactics, but those mailers did ultimately end up where they should have. This political season
has been one of the worst I remember for opponent bashing. How about focusing on what YOU CAN DO for the positive, rather than
dragging your opponent through the mud? CLassless on both sides! Unfortunately, I don't believe any of them that has the best
interest of Wisconsites in mind (specifically the working, middle class where the majority of us fall), and trying to persuade us
otherwise proves to be just another lie. Definitely a "lesser of two evils" scenario at the polls today.

Ditto!!
As far as I'm concerned, he just cut out the middle man between himself and the garbage can.

Be happy she didn't win. She'd probably turn all sled and ATV trails into fat tire bike trails and close them off to motorized vehicles.

The last thing I base my voting off of is a mailer, I am not that stupid.

but, I do remember when Newman was sitting in his apartment and Jerry walks in and asks him why he isn't out delivering mail, Newman responds "Its raining!"
