waiting on new sleds

am i the only one whos still waiting in their new sled to come in? may not have snow to ride on down here but its still gonna be pretty to look at. also whats everyone upgraded/switched to this year? i got one them fancy new axys (hopefully)

The 800 HO is a rocket. All the 800 etek guys are worried and losing sleep over it. ...I hear a lot might not even ride this year in fear of the new Poo......them Doo guys are funny that way.

I know 2 guys still waiting on there axys's as well. 800 pro-X switchbacks...

We are waiting too on a new Indy 600 e/s. Dealer says the sled is waiting for shipment. Original ship date was Nov 24th, then switched to Dec 8th, then switched to today, Dec 12th. Hopefully it finally ships!

with how big of a flop the rush was and poo's history on new engines and hearing of some issues already. Not worried. I am dieing to ride/race a buds axys . The thing thats funny Is how even poo points out the shortcomings of the rush and how the axys is better. Even the rushs resale is brutal. Cant give them away.

I hope the AXYS is better so doo will finally release some of the stuff waiting

Yep momoney2123, the shoot out was today. I'm surprised (maybe not) that you haven't posted results yet. Here are the results from the stock box 800 class. Wow!

Not suprised at all. I was happy the etec dynoed the most. Doos box stock clutching and gearing is not to win a drag race. Good for axys!! Cant wait to ride it and give it a shake down.

We also kno how the cat runs when its tuned, strong.

No need to fear, the Poo will go "pop" before the end of the 1/4...................

The Poo launched hard too.

Also keep in mind Fun Unlimited (Bill Lutz, the Poo dealer) has been massaging Poos for a long time. If I were buying a Poo he'd be the guy I'd buy it from. He's a Class guy who knows what's he's doing.*

I did here there was some stuff going on with the Yamaha and Cats from D&D. Different studs and no carbides for starters. I can't confirm that but it was a bit strange that the Cat and Yammis had a harder time turning around than the others.*

And let's face it, of the 3 dealers there D&D is by far the most involved in racing so they certainly know all the go fast tricks. Can't fault them for that.



We had a 2014*Big Bore 860 Etec there from D&D, we had issuses with the sled, the water pump seal went in it from possibly being froze after being on the dyno and was leaking antifreeze from the weep hole and spraying on the clutches. But it ran ok 6.8 91mph and 6.9 94mph or something like that... Yes it definitely wasn't the fastest in the class of aftermarket sled add-ons, but it wasn't the slowest. The Bikeman 880 was the slowest but they didn't come with a good clutch*set up and no studs worth putting in the sled...

The stock Polaris definitely hooked hard out of the hole with being soft suspension in the back, and the Cats did too, Doo spun hard in all its runs off the line. They all had the same studs in the sleds just the Doo didn't transfer enough with rider.(he was sitting to far forward for me in my opinion)

Dealer prep yes Fun Unlimited and D&D are alittle more experienced with drag racing but CJ's was limited with what they can do since you cant change a helix in the alloted time frame they give you so it was just primary changes up front.

I think the reason they are taking so long is that there is a part on the fuel lines which is some sort of colored clamp that holds the fuel line secure. The piece doesn't flare out to lock in correctly and so it can fling the line off and boom goes the sled doused in gasoline. Had to do this to our SAE clean snowmobile and was told its recall on them

This is news to me ....are you sure it is a fuel line?
There were a few issues with coolant lines but you are the 1st person on any website to post anything about a fuel line.
If true, this has been kept a big secret and with all of the new owners posting about every little thing on HCS, I am sure this would have come up.
Please verify.

Hopefully your buddy is authorized to say things that are posted on a public forum. He may be looking for a new job??? I'm not saying people who are still waiting for their sleds don't have the right to know but I just wonder for his job's sake if he should be releasing potentially classified info???
