We will be staying at Krupps over Christmas and are looking for a place to eat Christmas day. Any ideas or suggestions? I'm guessing Houghton may be the only option other than doing our own cooking in the cabin. TIA
A couple of years ago we came up Christmas day to get an early jump on riding and stayed at the Ramada in Hancock. To our surprise they were serving in the evening when we got there. You can check there. Total strangers and the staff were wishing everybody in the room Merry Christmas. Even though we were away from home it was a friendly environment to be in.
I stopped there a couple years ago when they were on the Ride-In poker run. Had breakfast and it was great. I bet this would be a good "down home friendly" place to go for Christmas. Nothing fancy but I'd think the atmosphere would be fun and festive and you'll get a hearty meal. Makes me think I should tell the family we're changing plans....
Thanks for the ideas everyone. We will probably eat at the cabin, but I was looking for ideas if we get cabin fever and want to get out for dinner that night. Tina's sounds like a good trail stop for the day. Thanks again everyone.
