Hardwater snow coming tonight and tubes morning in the ft Wayne area if it pans out I'll be stoked we are back from the yoop for a short while want to fix my snopro track is officially shot on the m8. Now I've been told there are trails in south bend that can be decent, have, you heard anything about this???
We're on the radar for 4-6-8" of snow tonight. I did get to spread salt and scrape on parking lot last night. We had about 1.5" of snow that fell, but it all turned into slush from the rain.
The Buffalo Run is a great "Indiana" trail. 70-75 miles in Indiana and then connects to 20'ish miles in MI and ends up by the casino. Don't ride it expecting a groomed trail. They do groom, but this is on an Indiana budget and Indiana snow. 99.9% of it is on farm ground. But they have been disking the trail prior to the ground freezing, so it is ridable when normal fields don't look ridable (if that makes sense). There are a lot of oneway sections, mostly circling farms counter clockwise. Also, there are several nice stops; Four Winds casino, 19th hole, an Irish pub, and crumstown tavern.
