Had a great trip this past weekend..rode Minocqua to Houghton to Copper Harbor to Marquette and back to Minocqua. Most trails were great and a few were terrible. Total 650 miles.
Some thoughts and generalizations from the trip..mostly light hearted so please no one get offended. And one serious issue...
Everyone's favorite person these days are the gas station workers...found myself laughing with joy at every fill-up! They also seemed to be in a great mood!
Why is there always a guy on a Arctic Cat blocking the trail at an intersection?! Every time
99% of guys on 800's really only need an 84 Phazer..
Why is it every guy from Illinois has an aftermarket can on their sleds? ***..
What's the deal with off-trail guys always popping onto the trail/railroad bed in front of people?! Happens to me every trip...Someone is gonna get killed one of these days! Seriously..***!
To the guy clearly struggling to keep that crappy handling Polaris Rush on the trail..no need to flip me the bird because you blew the corner!
I hate when on coming sledders don't use hand signals..please think about more than just yourself.
So depressing seeing Park View shut down and the parking lot not even plowed..then again service was terrible and mosquito more than picked up the slack.
Anyways..it sure is depressing driving back home to see all the snow melted.
